This weekend, my roommates (Meagan and Ashley aka Hubs) are having a group of 11th grade girls over to our house for Disciple Now. Disciple Now is through my church and is a weekend for students to get out of their normal environment and study the Bible. We have college students come in and lead and each group is assigned to a house. Our house is 10X cooler than any other house because it's our house... there are no adults! I can't wait to see how the girls are gonna react when they realize that they aren't going to a family house... but a "single ladies" house. :P Plus the 3 of us are leading! So much fun!
The theme is "You Are" so girls are going to be You are Beautiful and guys are You are Warriors. We will be talking about how our beauty is not what we see on the outside like what the world tells us, rather what is on the inside that shines through. Because God is beautiful, we created in his image are also beautiful. With all the pressures on young girls these days, I pray that they can enjoy being daughters of the King and feel loved and cherished and
beautiful!
